Third Debate Format a Success

Last night's final presidential debate was arguably the only interesting one, the most revealing on numerous levels, and the best for journalism. After first using podiums that isolated McCain and Obama, followed by a clumsy and stilted so-called "Town Hall," the finale put the two candidates at the same table, along with the moderator, and it enabled the most engaged environment for all three participants and provided a genuine public service for voters.
