Swiss electric motorcycle manufacturer, Quantya, with sales offices in Syosset, N.Y., has tapped sports action retailer Shredelectric to be the first dealership in a national network of retailers for its electric motorcycle, the first in the U.S. market.

Shredelectric, a New England retailer, will run promotional tours and events for the brand at motor sports events throughout the world.

Shredelectric sells two of the three bikes which Quantya manufactures, the "Strada", which is a dual sport and street legal model for under $11,000, and the off-road "Track" electric motorcycle.--Karl Greenberg
