Lifetime To Debut Online Games

Lifetime is investing in the future, and for the women's cable network, that means online dress-up games. The company has acquired South Korean casual gaming startup Roiworld.com for an undisclosed price, reports Venture Beat. The cabler will open a studio in Seoul, and is planning a U.S. site, with more than 1,000 casual games targeting women, early in 2009. Games will focus on dress-up, where members dress their avatars or characters in virtual clothing.
