iCrossing, Gridsum Partner To Offer Asian Search Marketing

icrossing mainpage iCrossing has partnered with China-based search engine marketing agency Beijing Gridsum Technology Co., Ltd. to manage and develop international search marketing campaigns for global brands in Asian markets.

Currently, iCrossing (http://www.icrossing.com/) manages paid and natural search marketing campaigns in 21 languages, in more than 25 countries across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. Working with Gridsum, iCrossing will now have access to in-country search capabilities in Asia, where the search market is expected to grow by $1.9 billion by 2011, according to iResearch.

"We were impressed with Gridsum's technical capabilities and understanding of the market," said Jeffrey Pruitt, EVP corporate partnerships at iCrossing, which announced the deal Wednesday. "This partnership will help increase our presence and global offering in one of the fastest-growing search markets in the world."

Gridsum was founded in 2003 by professionals from Tsinghua University, Peking University and Silicon Valley. The company provides search engine marketing and analytics to China's emerging online market. The agency serves clients across 10 industries.

"iCrossing has a worldwide reputation for their search leadership and innovation," said Michael Yang Xu, senior vice president, Beijing Gridsum Technology Co., Ltd. "Their strong international presence, experience working with global brands and unique approach to search-informed digital marketing make them a perfect partner."

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based iCrossing blends digital marketing services--including paid and natural search marketing, Web development, social media, research and analytics--to create integrated digital marketing programs that engage consumers and drive ROI. iCrossing's client base includes Epson America, Toyota, Travelocity and 40 Fortune 500 companies, including The Coca-Cola Company and Office Depot. The company excels in search engine optimization (SEO), customer analysis, and market research capabilities, according to Forrester analyst Shar VanBoskirk.

The company expanded its reach into Europe earlier this year when it acquired German digital marketing agency 3GNet GmbH in April. "iCrossing has become one of the largest independents in the world, and they have the right mix of people, technology and vision to continue that growth," said Patrick Bertermann, co-founder of 3GNet.
