MDialog Launches Ad Delivery Platform

Social video company mDialog is launching the mDialog Ad Delivery platform, or mAD, which offers content producers and advertisers 5- to-10-second pre or post-roll ads or coupons for online video content.

Using mDialog's MPEG h264 format and iPhone optimization technology, ads are delivered to the iPhone in high-res quality. Furthermore, mDialog's geotagging technology, which takes advantage of the iPhone's GPS capabilities, enables content producers and advertisers to microtarget consumers based on geographic location.

With mAD, mDialog members maintain their own advertising partnerships. Content producers and advertisers also have control over their campaigns, and because content is dynamic, ads are loaded as a separate element. This makes it easier to change out ad content without having to make changes to the video content, according to the company, which is based in Toronto and New York.--Tanya Irwin
