BBC investigators have hacked into email accounts of almost 40 employees to find "moles" who leak confidential information. The corporation, which has been rocked by scandal in recent years, has snooped on its staff in a bid to see who is responsible for giving away its secrets. BBC bosses have not revealed what information it was concerned was being leaked.
