Actually, that’s the same warning that GroupM digital chief Rob Norman used to end the
“Digital Video: Who’s Making It? It’s Not Just the Consumer..." panel that he moderated this afternoon, advising open-minded attendees to “stay for the next two
minutes,†and cautioning “those who find yourself easily offended†to “leave right now.â€
With that, Norman cued
an online video clip from the Onion.com, featuring a faux technology news clip from the Onion News Network covering the release of Sony's latest consumer electronics product, or as the ONN anchor
referred to it, “Sony’s stupid piece of shit,†and, “The biggest fucking waste of your hard earned money in years.â€
The hilarious bit went on for a couple of minutes, spewing more expletives-not-deleted than a Coen Brothers movie.
