The ebook's text-to-speech feature reads to users from books, newspapers, magazines and blogs. Pages automatically turn as the content is read. Amazon.com's Whispernet technology provides wireless access, along with Sprint's high-speed (3G) data network, to wirelessly search and download content.
Amazon.com also introduced a free Kindle e-book application for Apple's iPhone and iPod touch devices, offering consumers access to more than 240,000 titles.--Laurie Sullivan
