Gearing up for New York's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, which kicks off Sept. 10, Target says it plans to use its Times Square billboards to feature the works of upcoming artists, showcasing them from
Labor Day weekend through October.
At that point, the vinyl from the billboards -- with work from people like Michael Anderson and Josh Goldstein -- will be fashioned into 1,600
limited-edition Anna Sui-designed tote bags. The $30 bags can be ordered beginning Sept. 4, and ship in January.--Sarah Mahoney
