Fresh & Easy Relaunches School Fundraiser

  • September 16, 2009
Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market says it will re-introduce its Shop for Schools fund-raising program, which enables schools to get $1 in cash for every $20 shoppers spend at a Fresh & Easy.

The El Segundo, Calif.-based chain, owned by British retailing giant Tesco, says it will award the top fund-raising school in each state an additional $5,000 bonus. New this year, the company has also added special fund-raising shopping nights, where 5% of a store's sales from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. go to local schools.--Sarah Mahoney
