Juicy Juice Partners With N.Y. State Parks

  • October 27, 2009
Nestlé Juicy Juice has committed to investing $350,000 to build playgrounds in several communities in New York State.

The program is to provide safe and pleasant play environments at a time of budget shortfalls, said the brand's marketing manager, Victoria Nuevo-Celeste.

Branded playgrounds have already been installed at parks including Jones Beach and Robert Moses on Long Island, East River (Brooklyn), Saratoga Spa, Green Lakes (outside Syracuse), and Letchworth. Another is being installed at Wellesley Island State Park in the Thousand Islands.

The brand's partnership with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation was facilitated by Government Solutions Group (govsolgroup.com), a marketing company that develops cause-related marketing partnerships between corporations and state park government agencies to help reduce costs, increase revenue, and improve consumer relations. --Karlene Lukovitz
