Sports Authority Taps McKinsey Exec As CMO

The Sports Authority says it has named Jeffrey Schumacher as its new CMO, to oversee all marketing, advertising, private brand strategy, digital/eCommerce, corporate and business development strategy.

The Englewood, Colo.-based retailer says Schumacher will also be EVP/chief strategy officer. He had been a partner McKinsey & Co.'s marketing and sales practice on the West Coast.--Sarah Mahoney
