In the latest extension of its relationship with NASCAR, Coca-Cola is launching Family Track Walks, a season-long program in which racing fans can walk the first lap of the day alongside race
drivers.
The program will kick off at Feb. 14's 2010 Daytona 500. Prior to the race, attendees will have the opportunity to walk the Daytona International Speedway track next to Coca-Cola
Racing Family drivers Jeff Burton, Clint Bowyer, Elliott Sadler and three-time Daytona 500 champion/NASCAR alumnus Dale Jarrett.
Coke-sponsored family activities open to all attendees, including
games, music, racing simulators, lifestyle tips and Q&A sessions with drivers, will follow the track walk.
Track walks will also be held at other venues during the season, including Atlanta
Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Richmond International Raceway and Chicagoland Speedway.
Coke's MyCokeRewards.com site is also featuring content about the Racing Family drivers, along
with information about events, tips and sweepstakes.
Other current and past drivers in Coke's Driver Family include Greg Biffle, Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, Bobby Labonte, Joey Logano, Ryan
Newman, David Ragan, Tony Stewart, and Kyle Petty, Michael Waltrip and Ned Jarrett.
Coca-Cola is the official sparkling beverage of NASCAR, and has been involved with stock car racing for more
than 40 years.--Karlene Lukovitz
