Westwood One, Harpo Radio Distribute King, Oz

Gayle King

Westwood One and Harpo Radio are on the same wavelength. They have signed a multi-year partnership to distribute "The Gayle King Show," a two-hour, daily radio talk program hosted by TV personality and Oprah BFF Gayle King.

In addition, Westwood will distribute "Gayle King Evening," a new, five-hour weeknight entertainment program from Harpo Radio with music, talk and guests. Westwood One is also airing a daily feature from Dr. Mehmet Oz, host of daytime TV's "The Dr. Oz Show" and a three-hour weekend program that combines content from Gayle King, Dr. Oz and other Harpo Radio programs.

All shows will be broadcast on Westwood One's 5,000 affiliate radio stations and streamed to their respective Web sites.

Gary Schonfeld, president, Westwood One Network Radio, stated: "Gayle King and Dr. Oz both connect with their audiences in a personal, powerful way that is perfect for radio today."
