lucky for you that Hormel has begun a "Look What You Can Do" promotional campaign for the iconic delicacy in a partnership with broadcast marketing company CRN International. It is, in fact, the first
campaign to market a large number of Hormel brands -- Dinty Moore stews, Hormel Chili, Hormel Mary Kitchen Corned Beef Hash, Hormel Canned Chicken and Hormel Bacon Bits are also included -- under one
umbrella, Patricia Odell reports.
Radio personalities such as such as Sean Hannity and country star Kix Brooks will take the products home and then talk on air about the simple meals
they made with the products, and TV personalities will make meals on air. "Having well-known local personalities talk about their experience with using the product in the context of their real lives
is very effective," says Barry Berman, president of CRN.
