Clickable, Kenshoo, and Marin Software Thursday announced plans to deliver Web-based platforms that let companies compare side by side the performance of search and social ad campaigns. The trio
follows
Omniture, which released news last month to build a platform that integrates the social data.
Facebook recently announced the Ads API, making it available to a handful of test partners that will release full-working products at various times throughout the year. The API lets platform
companies integrate Facebook's ad platform on third-party tools.
In a race to deliver the goods, it appears that Clickable will become the first to make available a full-working product on April
12.
Clients of the company's working with Facebook will have an option to create, upload and manage Facebook Ads through their respective platforms. Using the Facebook Ads API, the companies aim
to make it easier for advertisers to search and compare a variety of campaigns.
Marin, which will integrate the feature into Marin Search Marketer, will enable support for audience targeting on
Facebook, and reporting and management by audience segment.
