Kmart Backs Kenny Chesney Concert Film

Kenny Chesney and Kmart have linked up for a nationwide distribution deal for his latest movie project, "Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3D." Kmart is selling the 2D version of the concert film in DVD and Blu-ray on Kmart.com, followed by nationwide distribution in Kmart stores on June 13.

The film follows Chesney's Sun City Carnival Tour in Boston, Indianapolis, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Francisco and Seattle.

The effort includes an online sweepstakes running through June 20 at www.kmart.com/kennychesney and dangling the chance to win autographed merchandise and prizes, including the grand prize of an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Las Vegas to meet Chesney and see him in concert.--Karl Greenberg
