Revolving Door: Lifetime Hit By More Exec Departures

(l-r) Lew Goldstein and Bob Bibb

More changes at Lifetime -- now its top marketing executives have departed. Bob Bibb and Lew Goldstein, who were co-chief marketing officers at Lifetime Networks, have left; their contracts were not renewed.

Bibb and Goldstein have been at the network for three years after a long stint as co-heads of marketing for the WB.

Earlier this year, Andrea Wong left as president/CEO of the Lifetime Entertainment Services, as part of the reorganization that put Lifetime under the domain of A&E Networks and that of Abbe Raven, its president/CEO.

Lifetime Networks is now run by Nancy Dubuc, who is its president and general manager. Dubuc also holds the same title for AETN's History channel. Until a replacement is found, all marketing activities will report to her.

Over the last several years, the network has struggled to show gains in its overall prime-time lineup. In fact, it is losing 20% of its prime-time viewers. Lifetime did have a major coup in grabbing the high-profile "Project Runway" from Bravo last year.

Bibb and Goldstein were brought to the net in 2007, when Wong arrived to head up the marketing network. Before that, they worked their entire lifespan at WB, from 1995 to 2006 -- when WB and UPN merged into the new CW network.
