Bravo has upped Eli Lehrer to vice president, development. Lehrer, who had overseen development and production for the East Coast, continues to report to Andy Cohen, the senior vice president, original programming and development.

Bravo just announced that its original shows have earned the best second quarter in the network's history.

Lehrer has developed some of Bravo's most high-profile programming, including "Flipping Out," "The Real Housewives of New York City," The Real Housewives of D.C." and "The Millionaire Matchmaker." In 2008, Multichannel News named him one of their "Forty Under Forty" heavy hitters in the cable and telecommunications industry. "There isn't much that's more satisfying than riding the subway or sitting in a restaurant and hearing the people next to you talking about a show they saw the previous night that you produced or developed," Lehrer told the trade magazine.

"Eli's a smart, thoughtful executive with a keen eye on what's happening culturally," stated Cohen, who credits his "knack for discovering innovative concepts and talent" as a key contributor to the network's success.

Lehrer will relocate to Los Angeles.

Prior to joining Bravo, Lehrer was manager, East Coast development, at VH1, where he handled production of specials and series, such as "Driven Presents: Stage Moms" and "True Spin."
