Toyota, which ran a two-week contest, has announced the 10 finalists vying for the opportunity to host the official 10 Years of Prius Anniversary Celebration in his/her hometown. These finalists were chosen from among the Facebook contest participants who uploaded photos and videos about why the love the car.

The public will be able to vote until Aug. 27 at midnight and the winner will be announced on Aug. 31.

Toyota will create a unique 10th anniversary celebration party on Oct. 10. The party will be organized and run by Outstanding in the Field, SHFT.com and Reverb.org.

Outstanding in the Field will cater with outdoor meals from the local markets, farmers, producers, culinary artisans and chefs; SHFT.com will curate art, music and sustainable design products; Reverb.org, a non-profit organization in music and environmental issues will make the event green.
