FanDuel, the online fantasy sports game provider, has joined forces with the digital home of the
New York Post. Visitors use real money throughout the football season. The agreement is based on
a revenue share model, which serves as a new source of income for www.nypost.com. FanDuel allows users to draft a fantasy team lasting only one day -- at any point during the season -- and follow the
team's progress online in real time. Participants can win cash prizes the same day they field a fantasy team. Players can use their winnings to finance future drafts or cash out whenever they like.
FanDuel has similar arrangements with
The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the
Orange County Register. The NYPost.com one-day fantasy draft experience, which
launched today at 12 a.m., will reside at http://www.nypost.com/fantasy.
