Okay, the 2010 OMMA Awards took place last night, and I was there, and if you WEREN'T there, you totally missed out on GREATNESS. It was awesome! (Don't worry, though. This recap will make you feel like you WERE there, except without all the drinks and dinner.)

MediaPost super-celebs Joe Mandese (our Editor-In-Chief) and Ross Fadner (our Director of Conference Programming) played the joint role of Master of Ceremonies. As a hosting duo, they hit the ball so far out of the park, they made A-Rod and Teixeira look like clueless Little League rejects. With an incredible 66 OMMA Award categories to cover, this was NOT a hosting gig for lightweights. Joe and Ross accepted the challenge, dug in, and rocked the Hilton like nobody's business!

The evening was an extraordinary Awards bonanza slash extravaganza. If you walked in a little late and looked left, you'd have seen Tremor Media's Rachel Friedman and Yahoo's Brian Hunt enjoying salads. Then if you looked right, you'd have seen CBS's John Russell and Discovery's Brett Gaba sharing a laugh. Then if you looked left again, Google's Sara Hall and MLB's Matthew Gould would probably have waved to say hi. (You know, if they liked you.)

An Instant Classic Moment: when Darren Paul of Night Agency (just before HUGE won an Integrated Online Campaign Award) got the entire audience to do TWO stadium-style waves, coast-to-coast! (Hands-down, the most over-dressed waves in history!)

Special double shout-out to MediaPost's super-cool Awards & Presentation specialists, Sergei Kogut and Jonathan "Jonnymack" McEwan. Those dudes deliver the goods each and every time. And how about MediaPost President Jeff Loechner, along with Junmian Sun, Lauren Honig and Samantha Zimerman, making all these great pictures happen? Nice!

Congratulations one and all! Let's do it again, 2011-style! See you there!
