Duke University and Synovate, the market research arm of Aegis, say they have formed the Duke/Synovate Shopper Insights Center for Leadership and Innovation, which will focus on researching how shoppers make decisions.
The new unit will be run by a board that is overseen by Duke, Synovate, other academics, and representatives from global consumer packaged goods companies.
Research projects will focus on shopper insights and shopper marketing.
