Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet has signed NBA star LeBron James as the new global brand ambassador.  

Part of the deal, which makes the Miami Heat star the global brand spokesperson, includes a limited-edition LeBron James Audemars Piguet watch. James will donate the proceeds from any future auctions of his timepieces to his namesake charity, the LeBron James Family Foundation, per a release.

Other brand spokespeople are racecar driver Michael Schumacher, soccer star Leo Messi, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, and golfers Lee Westwood, Graeme McDowell, Rory McIlroy and Vijay Singh.
