As part of its involvement with the Indianapolis 500, the IndyCar series and its partnership around the open-wheel racing series with Izod the IndyCar pace car is in the window at the Herald Square
and Roosevelt Macy's stores. The effort promotes a Civic Racing Style sweepstakes presaging the ninth generation Honda Civic.
Consumers can enter the contest by going to the Herald
Square and Roosevelt Field Macy's stores, or to any of 53 participating New York-area Honda dealerships. Eleven winners get a 2012 Honda Civic LX Coupe and a $2,500 Izod shopping spree. Twenty
runners up will win a "second chance" trip for two to the Izod IndyCar World Championship race in Las Vegas, Nevada, which includes another chance to win a 2012 Civic.
Visitors to the stores
can also put their name in the hat for a chance to sit back seat in a two-seat open-wheel race car that will pace the beginning of an upcoming IndyCar race. The winners of the "Honda's Fastest Seat in
Sports" sweepstakes get an all-expenses-paid trip for two to an upcoming IndyCar race along with an all-access pass for two to the raceway, and $1,000 worth of Izod apparel, and get to lead the start
of an IndyCar race in the two-seat IndyCar driven by Mario Andretti.
