AutoTrader To Run Interactive Ad Summits This Summer

Web-based automotive research and shopping site AutoTrader.com will host a series of interactive advertising summits, "Drowning in Data, Thirsting for Knowledge" this summer.

The first is in Detroit on June 21; the second in Los Angeles on July 12 and a third being planned for late summer in New York.

The one-day events are for OEM marketing personnel, OEM advertising agency representatives, and OEM media planning and buying agencies

Chip Perry, president and CEO of AutoTrader.com, will open with a presentation on online auto marketing, followed by experts like Stephen Polk, president and CEO of R.L. Polk & Co.; George Magliano, senior principal automotive economist of IHS; Randy Nicolau, CEO of Demdex; and Rick Wainschel, vice president of automotive insights.
