The recently re-branded CBS Sports Network said it has renewed a deal with the Patriot League, which will bring the league's basketball tournament to the network for the first
time.
The multi-year deal also includes carriage of at least 12 regular-season and tournament games. The league's women's title game is also part of the deal, as is the full lacrosse
tournament and at least two football games.
The Patriot League has had a relationship with the network founded as CSTV for eight years. League teams in basketball include American, Bucknell and
Colgate, as well as Army and Navy. The military academies are independent in football, and the network has rights to their home games exclusively under a different arrangement.
David Berson, who
heads CBS Sports Network, stated: "We are proud to expand our relationship with the Patriot League, which has been a valued programming partner ... [and] look forward to continuing to tell the
compelling stories of the Patriot League, its teams and student-athletes."

Earlier this year, the network, which is in about 40 million homes, took on a more inclusive name from CBS College
Sports Network.
Next month, it will air several games from an Adidas-sponsored high-school basketball tournament. In August, it will simulcast the "Sporting News" radio show with Tim Brando, a CBS
Sports personality.
