GoDaddy Says Two Super Bowl Spots Already A Go, Passed NBC Standards & Practices

Web hosting and domain registration service GoDaddy, which is known for tussling with networks over its racey Super Bowl ads, said NBC's Standards & Practices department has "surprisingly" approved two new spots it will air in its coverage of the Big Game, which will mark its eighth consecutive Super Bowl.

“After seven years, we have a good idea about what we can do that works for us and still be approved by censors – we know how to take it right to the very edge,” GoDaddy CEO and Founder Bob Parsons said in a statement. “Critics have suggested we submit ads solely to be rejected, but we don’t … we submit concepts that are fun, edgy and slightly inappropriate. That’s GoDaddy-esque and that’s what drives viewers to GoDaddy.com year after year after year.”

GoDaddy said one of its 2012 spots features ".CO," which it called, "the fastest growing new Web address," and that both spots would once again feature "GoDaddy Girls" Danica Patrick and Jillian Michaels.
