Mojiva Names Microsoft Exec As New CTO

Mobile ad network Mojiva has named Microsoft veteran Frank O’Donnell as its new chief technology officer. In connection with the move, current CTO and Mojiva co-founder Krish Arvapally has been promoted to chief innovation officer.

In his new role, O’Donnell will be responsible for enhancing Mojiva’s ad-serving platform and developing new ad-buying and monetization tools for advertisers and publishers on its media network. He most recently served as senior development manager at Microsoft, helping integrate advertising into platforms the Xbox, Windows Phone and Windows 8 platforms.

Previously, O’Donnell was director of development for game advertising firm Massive, acquired by Microsoft in 2006, and has also led technology teams at Barnes & Noble and DoubleClick. As chief innovation officer, Arvapally will focus on building out Mojiva's product roadmap and adding new technologies.
