Apica, which offers a testing and performance-monitoring service for cloud and mobile applications, announced
Monday raising $5 million. The third-round funding was led by SEB Venture Capital, and including prior investors Industrifonden, ALMI Invest, and KTH Chalmers Capital.
The Silicon Valley firm said it will use the latest investment for product development, marketing, and expanding its server and testing capacity.
Apica says its software suite allows clients
to test apps for maximum use capacity, daily performance, improved load times and protect against peak loads. The company had previously raised about $6.3 million, including $2 million in July 2011
from Sweden-based Industrifonden.
