In a tribute to its history in sponsoring the U.S. Open, Evian will launch its first annual Wood Racquet Cup tournament on Aug. 18,  at The West Side Tennis Club in Forest Hills, N.Y.

The members of the "curated" doubles teams -- New Yorkers who will be competing during the vintage-themed tournament for tickets to the U.S. Open Finals matches in September -- are to be announced on the brand's Facebook page. The event's attendees will also have chances to win finals tickets.

The day will also feature entertainment -- including "special appearances by a suprise celebrity guest and local tennis pros" and music by Hungry March Band -- table tennis open to the public; branded tote bags; food from Asia Dog and People's Pops; and a bar offering specialty cocktails, beer and champagne.
