Digilant -- the agency trading
desk that was incubated by Havas Digital -- has brought Timothy Anderson Flink back to the states to fill the new role of vice president of Global Platform Solutions.
Formally
managing director of Digilant’s U.K. arm, Flink is returning to the company's Boston headquarters, where he will oversee client training, as well as product improvements and development.
“It’s important for me to be able to take client feedback to the Digilant team for consideration,” Flink said on Friday.
The move comes as Digilant --
which was known to the world as Adnetik until this summer -- faces stiffer competition from rivals like Publicis’ VivaKi Nerve Center. Coinciding with its recent rebranding, Digilant debuted two
new products: Digilant AIM Audience Index and Digilant AIM Brand Network. The company is positioning the new index as a way for marketers to reach new customers by expanding their target audience pool
to include previously unidentified prospects.
Earlier this month, VivaKi named Chris Paul general manager of Audience On Demand (AOD) -- its trading desk for Publicis agencies to
manage their programmatic buying across digital channels.
Boding well for the company, Digilant was recently selected by Underscore Marketing to provide its self-service media-buying
technology.
