For Valentine's Day, Gevalia coffee is offering free samples of its new single-serve pods for the Keurig K-Cup Brewer via a promotional "Go Single with Gevalia" app in a tab on its Facebook page.

Those who "like" the brand's Facebook page and opt in through the app will receive a sample, while supplies last.

Parent Kraft Foods reports that the demand has been so strong since Gevalia launched the offer on February 7 that the originally planned 100,000 samples leading up to V-Day have been doubled to 200,000 -- and those are expected to have been claimed by the afternoon of February 12.

Gevalia currently has nearly 439,000 Facebook "likes."
