Time Warner Cable has launched the second phase of its “Enjoy Better” advertising campaign, with a new series of television commercials featuring noted football coach Bill Cowher.
In the commercials, which will be running across the cable company’s footprint, Cowher appears as TWC’s “head coach” helping consmers get the most out of their cable services. In the first spot, Cowher interrupts a feuding trio of football player Victor Crus, professional golfer Ian Poulter and NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne, who are arguing about what to watch on television. Cowher demonstrates that TWC has the most sports programming available on the most devices, before the trio begins arguing who gets the smartphone, tablet and TV remote.
“Coach Cowher is well positioned to be the personification of how Time Warner Cable operates as a company today,” said Jeffrey A. Hirsch, executive vice president and chief marketing and sales officer, residential services of Time Warner Cable, in a statement. “We are excited to have Coach Cowher on board and look forward to seeing how he inspires us to do better while motivating customers to experience the Time Warner Cable difference.”
