Mobile app analytics and advertising firm Flurry on Thursday named Prashant Fuloria as
the company’s chief product officer. Joining from the Mayfield Fund, Fuloria has previously held senior product development roles at Facebook and Google.
At Facebook, he led the product
team for Facebook ads as well as commerce offerings such as Facebook Credits. And while at Google, he managed the company’s products for the Asia-Pacific region, led its global billing and
payments efforts, and served as an early member of the AdWords product team.
Fuloria’s appointment comes as Flurry is ramping up
its services, earlier this month launching an RTB-based ad marketplace for apps and expanding its analytics service from apps to mobile Web sites. The company raised $25 million in venture funding
late last year, with an eye toward an IPO in the second half of 2013.
