Holy Home Goods! Barneys Unveils Lichtenstein Collection

  • May 2, 2013

Barneys New York says it is introducing a limited-edition line of home goods, featuring art by late Pop Art legend Roy Lichtenstein, in partnership with the Art Production Fund. The summer collection, priced from $28 to $295, includes trays, placemats, china dishes, glasses, paper plates, paper cups, and pillows, as well as plenty of toys suitable for the Hamptons: Flying discs, pool floats, water bottles, beach bags, beach balls and towels. The designs draw from such classics as Ice Cream Soda (1962), Drawing for Kiss IV (1963), Baked Potato (1962), and Bananas and Grapefruit I (1972). The retailers say it is donating 25% of all sales to the Art Production Fund, which supports public art projects.
