Some networks, such as CNN, and multiple ones run by Disney have moved into TV
Everywhere with live streaming. Both Turner Broadcasting and Disney have moved aggressively into TV Everywhere; others like Discovery have taken a more cautious approach. They may be waiting for the
market to evolve in order to gain insight into how much more in affiliate fees they can collect.
In May, Time Warner Cable said it would offer out-of-home access for Android users for 1,100
on-demand TV shows movies from 26 networks, along with live streaming of perhaps a dozen networks. Those include multiple Viacom channels such as Comedy Central and MTV.
