Twentieth Television Taps Teicher As EVP, Media Sales

Michael Teicher, the longtime executive vice president of media sales at Warner Bros. Brand Networks, has been appointed executive vice president of media sales at Twentieth Television starting in September.

He will be responsible for overseeing all sales efforts at Twentieth Television, as well as for 20th Century Fox Television and Debmar-Mercury programming. He will report to Greg Meidel, president of Twentieth Television. Among the TV shows at Twentieth, Teicher will be responsible for “Modern Family” and “Family Guy,” as well as Debmar-Mercury’s “Wendy Williams” and “Family Feud.”

While at Warner Bros, Teicher led selling activities for shows including “TMZ,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “Extra,” “The People’s Court,” “Judge Mathis,” as well as off-network series “Big Bang Theory,” “Friends,” “Two and A Half Men,” “The Middle,” and “The Closer."

Teicher had been with Warner Bros. since 2002. Before that, he was senior vice president of advertising sales at ReplayTV. Also, he was senior vice president of global client solutions at Turner Broadcasting Sales, responsible for integrated marketing opportunities across all divisions of Turner Broadcasting System and Time Warner.
