Leo Burnett elevated Steve Chavez to chief creative officer of Leo Burnett Detroit. Previously, Chavez served as global executive creative director, managing creative across the Detroit client
portfolio. Chavez joined Leo Burnett Detroit in 2010 as executive creative director overseeing the Buick account. In 2012, Chavez was named global executive creative director, in charge of the
agency’s entire GM portfolio including Buick, GMC, AC Delco and GM Certified Service. Under Chavez’s leadership, Leo Burnett Detroit won five new accounts including the NCAA, Chevy
Silverado, GMC and Buick in Canada, and the GM Certified Pre-Owned and Fleet and Commercial business.
