REVOLVING DOOR: DDB Chicago Tapped Tony Malcolm As ECD For McDonald's

DDB Chicago hired Tony Malcolm as executive creative director on the agency’s McDonald’s account. Previously, Malcolm was a creative director at Leo Burnett UK where he oversaw creative work for McDonald’s. He penned some of the brand’s more memorable work including the “Just Passing By” series of films that was one of the most awarded campaigns in the restaurant category in 2012. The campaign was also awarded the first-ever Cannes Gold Lion for Creative Effectiveness. During his eight-year stint at Leo Burnett, Malcolm also oversaw the UK Government’s Think! Road Safety campaigns. Malcolm began his career at Saatchi and Saatchi more than 20 years ago and has since worked at many UK creative agencies including Leagas Delaney, Simons Palmer Denton Clemmow & Johnson, TBWA, Abbott Mead Vickers, and Wieden+Kennedy.
