It should be a happy time for predictive analytics firm Scout Analytics, having just been acquired by ServiceSource for $32 million. Dampening any celebration, however, a group of preferred
stockholders have reportedly filed suit against Scout Analytics’ board, alleging that it engaged in “self-dealing, corporate waste, and gross negligence” by failing to entertain a
counter-financing offer at a higher valuation by a potential investor. “That deal would have valued the company at $40 million,” GeekWire reports.
