The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) has released its preliminary schedule for this year’s NewFronts, expanding the five-day event into nine days instead, to be held between April 28 and
May 8 in New York City.
For the second year in a row, IAB is serving as the managing partner for the events, along with the original hosts, AOL, DigitasLBi, Google/You Tube, Hulu, Microsoft
and Yahoo.
In addition, other NewFronts participants will include BuzzFeed, Condé Nast Entertainment, Crackle at Sony Pictures Television,, the Dow Jones Company/Wall Street
Journal, Glam Media/Project M, Maker Studios, National Geographic, The New York Times, Pop Sugar, Scripps Networks, Time Inc., Time Warner Cable, Vevo and Vice Media.
The schedule, as it
exists now, is viewable at iab.net.
A spokeswoman said the list could expand by the time the events begin happening. As usual, individual publishers are
responsible for the invitations to their NewFronts presentations.
A board of notable advertising executives choose the participants using, among other things, comScore and Nielsen data, and
the results of an IAB survey of ad agency media buyers.
