If you're looking
forward to the March 3 season premiere of A&E's "Bates Motel" as much as I am, check out this creepy interactive website while you wait. BatesMotel.com shows the inside of the motel purchased by Norma Bates and her son Norman. The creepy catch is, the hotel is completely dark and users must use the
flashlight app on their smartphones to illuminate the rooms. Connect to the site through a chat room created after a four-digit code displayed on the desktop is entered on your phone.
TVGla, the agency that created the site, visited the actual set of the show, shot footage of the motel, and aligned the website with themes from the show. As visitors travel through
rooms, certain objects get highlighted, offering clues and links to more information about the series. Check out
a video here to see how the site works.
