Johnstone joins the agency from AMV BBDO, where he developed strategy for brands like Guinness, Motorola and Footlocker, UK Government Transport, Health and Environmental Departments. While there, he was also a part of the "MakePovertyHistory" (known as ONE in the U.S.) and "IF" campaigns that tackled hunger.
