The Onion Takes On Buzzfeed With Clickhole.com

The Onion is taking direct aim at some of the more despised trends currently shaping the Web from native advertising and link bait to listicles and pseudo-insightful personality-driven questionnaires. Clickhole.com, a new site from The Onion, will exist entertain audiences by mocking and shaming sites like BuzzFeed and Upworthy, the New York Business Journal reports. "Every post is engineered to be as shareable as possible, so it spreads like a deadly wildfire on social media," according to "Jim Haggerty," an Onion News Network host played by Brad Holbrook.
