Facebook Launches Mobile Advertising Network

Facebook has unveiled a mobile advertising network that will allow brands to advertise within mobile applications and target users through data collated by the social media giant, including an individual's demographic details and their "likes." The Facebook Audience Network builds on its existing Audience Network, launched last year. By adding its pool of customer data and going mobile, Facebook is hoping to tap in to a mobile advertising market tipped by eMarketer to grow 75% this year.
