Hatch Awards Deadline Extended To May 12

Thinking you may have blown it by not entering the Ad Club's annual Hatch Awards?

Cheer up! The Ad Club has extended its deadline for entries from May 2 to May 12.

Yes, it's true. You now have TEN extra days to submit your creative project so that your peers can see how truly awesome you and/or your team are.

This year's competition features a whopping 71 categories that cover pretty much every leading mode of public communication, including radio, TV, newspapers, magazines, websites, mobile platforms, social media, games, online video, logos, posters, billboards--even corporate annual reports. 

To be eligible, the idea for the campaign or project must have been conceived by an individual or entity based in New England, even though production may have taken place elsewhere. And the project or campaign must have debuted or be slated to debut between May 1, 2013, and June 1, 2014.

Only digital submissions will be accepted, the Ad Club says, so don't even think of sending in hard copies. Go to www.adclub.org for details.

Winners will be announced at the Hatch Awards gala to be held on Nov. 6 at the House of Blues.
