Krux Opens Office In Australia, Taps Gaines From Brandscreen

Data management platform (DMP) Krux this week announced it has opened its first office in Sydney, Australia. Krux also announced the appointment of Jo Gaines as country manager, Australia.

Gaines will be responsible for the company's business development and marketing efforts in the region. She was previously chief revenue officer at Brandscreen, an Australia-based demand-side platform (DSP). She has held leadership positions at CBS Interactive and served as CEO of Digital Media Options Pty, Ltd., her own digital media consultancy firm.

“Data-driven marketing is transforming the practice of marketing globally,” stated Gaines. “Throughout my career, I have been obsessed with talking to advertisers about audiences rather than about clicks and impressions.”

“Jo has been on the forefront of digital media — from content strategy to programmatic trading and even running her own consultancy,” stated Tom Chavez, co-founder and CEO of Krux. “Having her on-board is a boon to Krux and clients throughout Australia.”

Krux clients in the Asia-Pacific market include CCI Japan, DNP Japan, NewsLimited, CarSales.com.au, RealEstate.com.au and others. Krux also recently opened an office in Singapore and appointed Stu Spiteri as managing director.
