All-Star Game Doesn't Bat For Fox TV

The last Major League All-Star game for famed New York Yankee Derek Jeter didn’t do much to improve Fox’s TV ratings over a year ago.

Some 11.3 million TV viewers were earned, between 8 and 10 p.m., according to Nielsen, for the game -- slightly higher than the results of a year ago (10.96 million).

Fox also tallied a 3.2 rating/11 share among key 18-49 viewers -- tops for Tuesday night -- about the same as last year’s 3.2/10. Also at 8 p.m., two hours of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent Recap” took in a nice 2.0/7 on the night and 8.5 million viewers.

Two ABC original episodes from its reality shows posted around the same results among 18-49 viewers: “Extreme Weight Loss (8 p.m. to 10 p.m.), a 1.0/3 and “Celebrity Wife Swap” (at 10 p.m.), a 1.1/3.

NBC ended its decently performing “The Night Shift” 10 p.m. medical drama with a 1.1/4 for its season finale.
Fox averaged a 3.2/11 among 18-49 for the night; NBC, a 1.7/6; CBS and ABC at a 0.9/3 each; and CW, a 0.2/1.
