Rubicon Project has announced the appointment
of Patrizio Zanatta as managing director, Latin America.
Zanatta will work from the company’s Miami office and will report to Jay Stevens, Rubicon’s international GM. The
company’s Latin American business -- which focuses on Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and Colombia -- runs in part out of Miami, although the company did open an office in Brazil in May.
Zanatta was previously sales director, Southern Europe at Rubicon, where he was responsible for growth in Italy, Spain and Turkey.
Prior to joining Rubicon, Zanatta was with Real Media
Group and served as a tech sales and account manager for Italy and as sales director, Europe. He had previously worked at FTB International and Transpart Holding and was based in Miami for two
years.
“There is a huge opportunity for advertising automation across Latin America,” stated Zanatta. “I am thrilled to move back to Miami and lead the charge so soon after
the opening of our Brazil office in Sao Paulo and feel very welcomed by the buyers and sellers in the region, especially those also based in Miami.”
Rubicon has also made an appointment across
the pond, tapping James Brown as managing director, UK and Ireland. He will report to the company’s SVP of Europe, Oliver Whitten.
Brown was previously general manager, digital
advertising atTelegraph Media Group. Prior to that, he was trading director at diffiniti, and Aegis group, per a release.
“James Brown is extremely well-regarded in the online
publishing industry,” stated Whitten. “The UK is a crucial market for Rubicon Project, where we have strong market share and work with very innovative buyers and sellers -- many of which
James Brown has long-standing relationships with.”
